The water covered up one rock that was a foot taller than me when I went swimming in this same area a few weeks ago, so I know the water rose at least 7ft.

The current weather pattern has been pushing vog into Hilo for the last several days making it hard to breathe for those with allergies and asthma. I caught this rainbow with my cellphone amongst the vog and the rain clouds a few days ago.
