The Brookings Institution announced that Honolulu is the greenest city in the nation on thursday. According to their report Honolulu Hawaii generates the least amount of carbon dioxide pollution among the top 100 U.S. metropolitan areas. The report says that Honolulu, Hawaii produced only about 1.36 metric tons of carbon emissions per person in 2005. [...]
